Founded in 1954, 1st Bradwell Scout Group is a volunteer‑led charity providing fun, adventure and skills for life to young people in Bradwell and the surrounding area. We welcome members from all backgrounds and aim to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. We currently have over 100 youth members in our group, over all sections.
We run weekly meetings, outdoor activities, community projects, camps and events for young people aged 6–18. Our programme helps young people grow in confidence, develop practical skills and make lasting friendships.

Our group is run entirely by trained volunteers who give their time to support young people. From leaders to trustees to occasional helpers, every volunteer plays a vital role in making Scouting possible.
